Welcome to Holy Angels School |

Established in 1956, Holy Angels is a co-educational Roman Catholic elementary
school in the Diocese of Wilmington, providing a quality
education to nearly 500 students from Kindergarten through eighth grade.
Our highly qualified and committed faculty is dedicated to guiding, teaching, and nurturing the children entrusted to us. Holy Angels’ curriculum is compatible with
the diocesan
and state requirements, and is accredited by the Commission on Elementary Schools of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
We are located on Possum Park Road, just off of Kirkwood Highway in Newark, Delaware.

Mission Statement
Holy Angels School educates children through a quality and challenging curriculum based on Catholic values in the Franciscan tradition, and encourages students to grow into spiritual, moral, intelligent, and socially responsible adults. (Adopted 2005)
Respect
The quality of life at Holy Angels School is governed by the Rules of
Respect, adopted by our faculty in September 1992.
Respect yourself, others, and all property. Everyone is
special; encourage one another. Speak and walk quietly through
the school. Patience with self and others. Everyone
sets a good example. Care for each other’s feelings. Treat
each other with kindness and with RESPECT.
